Elijah Fashina's world was shattered when he lost both his mother and father to AIDS within the span of a year and before he had even reached his teens. Fashina shares how God used Life Builders to deliver hope in a season of despair:

"I could not go to school and did not know where the next meal would come from. I became homeless and thought about killing myself. At that time, I was invited to a church where I heard about Jesus as the only sure hope for me. After about two weeks, I gave my life to Jesus and was introduced to the church's weekly Bible study. Later that year, the Pastor told me about Life Builders, whose mission is to help orphaned kids like me. Through the help of Life Builders, I am now back in school and living with a Christian family. My school fees and other expenses are taken care of through the church. Now I have hope and a bright future. But I am still worried about other children who are hopeless like I was."
